The problem that started it
We loved the idea of functional mushrooms — a calmer morning, a gentler evening — but the more labels we read, the more the category felt like a magic trick. "Proprietary blends" that never named a dose. "2,000mg of mushrooms" with no hint of how much was real fruiting body versus the grain it was grown on. Prices that didn't match what was actually in the tin. If you couldn't tell what you were buying, how could you tell if it worked?
What we decided to do differently
Put the dose on the front. Use real fruiting-body extract and publish the beta-glucan number. Test every lot with an independent lab and let anyone read the report. Price it fairly for what's inside. And make the subscription something you'd actually want — cancel in one click, no hoops. None of that is revolutionary. It's just honest. In this category, that turns out to be the whole difference.
What we stand for
How we handle the science
Our education is written to be accurate first and persuasive second. Where the human research is strong, we say so; where it's mixed or mostly traditional, we say that too (see our Ingredient Library). Health content is reviewed against current evidence and updated as it changes. We make structure/function statements only — we don't diagnose or make disease claims — and everything is checked before it goes live.
